so while the location is decent, i was appalled by the lack of a microwave to heat up my food, even though i was granted permission to eat in the dining room. also, the shower was a cold mess, and i expected a room upgrade or some kind of gratuitous gesture after all this inconvenience. absolutely unacceptable.

Bay Cottage was a lovely spot with stunning views of Lough Neagh! Elizabeth’s homemade breakfast, especially the soda bread, was one of the highlights for me. The only hiccup was that the shower temperature was a bit unpredictable. Would definitely go back!

Charming, Charming, Charming
I absolutely loved the spacious Twin Room with Private Bathroom that had immaculate decor and breathtaking views of Lough Neagh. The homemade breakfast was a delightful experience featuring Elizabeth's famous soda bread and local jams. Elizabeth, our lovely host, provided personalized sightseeing recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable.

stunning views of Lough Neagh, engaging decor with historical elements, complimentary wildlife-watching binoculars
Shower over the bath can be awkward to use!!! Limited public transport options around the area are inconvenient for those without their own car!!! Cold shower water varies unpredictably, which felt quite disappointing!!!

Our group of friends had an amazing stay here! The room was spacious, and we loved the generous homemade dinner arranged by Elizabeth—totally delicious! Close to Belfast for a fun day out and scenic walks nearby. Don't miss out on Elizabeth's soda bread for breakfast. It's a perfect spot to unwind before a flight.
One downside was the cold shower water, which was quite unpredictable. It made for a bit of an awkward morning routine.

Just a prime choice for an overnight stay in Crumlin with good value for cost. The homemade breakfast with delicious soda bread was a highlight! Make sure to plan your meals elsewhere before arrival to avoid any dining restrictions.
